Otro ratico de buenísimo jazz clásico y contemporáneo en La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz. Este número, tal y como ya comentamos, es un especial al gran Rudy Van Gelder, ingeniero de sonido de jazz por excelencia. A lo largo de cuatro horas, repasamos algunas de las grabaciones claves de la Historia del Jazz en las que participó activamente el gran Rudy Van Gelder, responsable de eso que se hace llamar sonido Blue Note y cuya magia podemos escuchar en muchísimos discos no sólo en Blue Note si no también en sellos como Prestige o Impulse! y también en grabaciones de música clásica.

Meticuloso genio del sonido, Rudy Van Gelder nos dejó la semana pasada con 91 años y una brillantísima carrera a sus espaldas en la que firmó enormes obras maestras. Gracias maestro.
